In addition, I am a daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend. I am the one friends want to talk to when they have a problem or need advice. I have always been hungry to learn more about how people think....and why we think that way. I can't get enough of self-help books, online courses, and seminars. Everything I learn, I want to share. Several years ago, I had the good fortune to attend a retreat sponsored by Christine Kane. That one weekend retreat led me to becoming a life coach. It was when I began to look at life with different eyes. I began to realize that life was not out of my control. I began to see that I might not be able to control every event in my life, but I could control how I reacted to these events. In 2010, I attended Martha Beck Life Coach Training Program and became a Certified Life Coach. I have discovered new aspects of myself. Some sides I did not know existed. Some sides I did not want to acknowledge. Today, I have created a new career and am now living a life that is full of joy and passion every single day.
